Join me for an introduction to Kundalini Yoga. No previous experience necessary, all levels of experience are welcome. Kundalini Yoga differs from other popular styles of yoga in that it fully integrates the multiple branches, or limbs, of yoga, not only the physical. We will learn breathing techniques, called pranayama, guided meditations techniques, and other tools for focusing our energy and our minds, such as mantra (sacred sounds chanted aloud or silently in the mind) and mudra (sacred positions for the hands) in addition to dynamic physical exercises, or asanas.
Please wear comfortable clothing, try to not eat for at least one hour prior to practicing, and be sure to hydrate. Come prepared with a bottle or glass of water. Classes are held ONLINE through Zoom. First class is FREE! Drop-in fee: $12. 5-class cards: $50. See you in class!
