Beginner's Kundalini - Online

Join me for an introduction to Kundalini Yoga. No previous experience necessary, all levels of experience are welcome. Kundalini Yoga differs from other popular styles of yoga in that it fully integrates the multiple branches, or limbs, of yoga, not only the physical. We will learn breathing techniques, called pranayama, guided meditations techniques, and other tools for focusing our energy and our minds, such as mantra (sacred sounds chanted aloud or silently in the mind) and mudra (sacred positions for the hands) in addition to dynamic physical exercises, or asanas.

Please wear comfortable clothing, and have a cushion handy for support while sitting on the floor. If sitting on the floor is not comfortable or accessible for you, that is no problem. You can follow along while seated in a chair. Please do not eat for at least one hour prior to practicing, and be sure to hydrate. It’s helpful to have a bottle of water nearby. Come with an open mind, and arrive on time. All introductory classes are BY DONATION only. Suggested donation is $10-20 USD. See you in class!
